Junior Software Developer (MERN)

About the Role

You’ll build real features in our products – not just bug fixes. You’ll work closely with senior developers but own your modules end-to-end, from writing code to testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and own your modules through to deployment
• Debug and fix issues in existing codebases
• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and BD/marketing teams as needed
• Learn and apply AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Antigravity) in daily work
• Participate in code reviews – both giving and receiving feedback

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience with the MERN stack (internships count toward this)
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and relational/NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Working knowledge of, or strong interest in, AI coding tools like Cursor and Claude Code
• Comfortable taking ownership of a task and seeing it through without constant check-ins
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn fast
